Intersections

How long does it take to turn strangers into friends? And how long does it take to be as far as enemy, when you used to be friends? No one on earth knows.

Indeed, The Sky could turn our hearts faster than a blink of an eye. One second you hate someone, the next second you like them, then it grows into love, and then you hate them again.

Life is funny, that's all we know. We might live to 20 or 80, but we precisely know the comedy in every step we take. We should've laughed when we realize how the universe conspires to add spices into this tasteless world.

You think you know everything about the whole thing happening in this world, don't you? Bold of you to assume that. You don't even know who will cross your path, who will stay along the way, and who will leave.

When you meet someone and you like them, you hope both of you are parallel lines. Walking side to side towards the same destination. They will be there beside you to reach your dreams together.

The joke is all on us, isn't it? Two individuals meet at one point,  an intersection. Meeting just to parting away. Then we meet another one, hoping them to be our parallel line. Then it turns out to be another intersection, parting away, meeting another one again, the cycle goes on.

But the joke isn't over yet. Life is a circle, it goes round and round. Everyone wanders through the world in their own way, searching for something they don't even know. Long time ago you parted with someone and now they're back. And somehow it's not an intersection. They're here to be your parallel line. Their presence beside you will last for a lifetime.

My point to write this is to ask you. We were stranger, then we turned friends, then we acted like enemies instead, and now we meet again. So tell me, is this another intersection or are we going to be each other's parallel lines?
